The International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) 2026 attracted 286,000 visitors, a 3% decrease from last year. The film "I Swear," about John Davidson, an activist with Tourette syndrome, won the Audience Award. Despite the decline in overall attendance, the festival reported a 20% increase in the 20- to 30-year-old age group. The IFFR Pro program saw a 10% increase in participants.
